This is a musical competition for bands or soloists who use Galician in their activities. Through this project we want to help the groups who decide to use Galician to display their full potential before a highly demanding audience: the students at Galician schools.  <\/p>\n

The organising groups are also seeking to publicise the music made in Galician and thus support these bands. These bands stand the chance of receiving a cash prize and will have the chance to perform live in the 12 towns and cities through which Correlingua will be passing in 2016; this is a march in support of the language in which thousands of youngsters at all levels in the education system will be taking part.

\nThe songs will need to be original ones and new versions of existing songs will not be allowed. The subject matter of the lyrics will be completely free, but no obscene or discriminatory content will be allowed. The lyrics will also need to display careful use of the language and avoid using Spanish forms.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
