Pirritx, Porrotx and Mari Motots are a group of clowns; every year they work on constructive values relating to an issue while combining Basque with merriment.

\nAs they are clowns they do theatre shows, a new one every year. In their shows they choose an issue to work on and, alongside the drama, use song and dance to transmit the values.
\n 
\nThey write the screenplays for the shows using the issues they see in society: the quality and origin of food, ecology, cultural diversity, the situation of the immigrants, models of family, etc.  The issues chosen are social ones. Every year they solve everything because that is what they set out to do, and then, the following year, they find another issue to solve. The world in black and white that we are shown around us is filtered in colour through their eyes, and they try to project optimistic, constructive messages around the issues they work on. That is their aim and their work.

\nApart from live theatre shows, they use various mediums to transmit their work and their message. Every year they release a disc of music which includes little stories and songs relating to the chosen issue and the theatre show. They also release a DVD with the shows they put on, and this is accompanied by a reportage dealing with the issue being worked on.

\nAnd they also publish stories: board book tales for small children dealing with different issues; for older children, they have stories, card games, games, jigsaw puzzles, etc., through which they also transmit their message. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
