Suns Europe 2015 Friuli is the showcase for the best creative production of a multilingual Europe. The festival, which takes its name from the Friulian word Suns, "sounds", is divided into three sections, dedicated to the cinema, literature and theater, and music.

\nFriuli becomes the centre of a Europe that is “united in its diversity”, thanks to Suns Europe, the first European Festival of performing arts in minority languages.

\nIn three week, we will be able to get in touch with the cultural vitality and expressive richness of audiovisual, literary and music productions made in the minority languages and nationalities of Europe, with authors, musicians, and film professionals from different areas of the continent, from the Basque Country to Karelia, from Corsica to Lapland, from Friuli to Galicia, from Occitania in Baskortostan, from Wales to Graugünden, from Brittany to Ladinia, from the Catalan areas to Greenland and Ireland.

\nIn this way, Friuli opens its doors to Europe and, at the same time, it shows its multilingual and multicultural profile, finally free from discrimination and prejudice.
