III Congrés Internacional de Revitalització de Llengües Indígenes i Minoritzades
El III Congrés Internacional sobre Revitalització de Llengües Indígenes i Minoritzades (III CIRLIM) se celebrarà entre els dies 13 i 16 de setembre de 2022 en dues seus: la Universitat de Girona (a les facultats de Lletres i d’Educació i Psicologia) i la Universitat de Perpinyà Via Domitia (a la facultat de Lletres i Ciències Humanes). Aquest Congrés pretén ser un punt de trobada per a persones que treballen per la revitalització de llengües indígenes i minoritzades d’arreu del món des de diferents punts de vista: la recerca, l’activisme, la pedagogia i la pràctica sobre llengües i cultures de poblacions indígenes i minoritzades d’arreu del món.
El Congrés té com a objectiu principal reunir investigadors, activistes, professionals de la llengua i estudiants per propiciar un diàleg global i interdisciplinari i servir de fòrum per a l’intercanvi d’idees, experiències i investigacions sobre temes relacionats amb la revitalització de les llengües. El Congrés es planteja, principalment, tres objectius: el primer, difondre aspectes educatius i de recerca relacionats amb el plurilingüisme; en segon lloc, donar a conèixer actuacions a favor de la revitalització de llengües indígenes i minoritzades i, en tercer lloc, divulgar investigacions sobre aspectes lingüístics, socials, polítics i culturals relacionats amb les llengües indígenes i minoritzades.
III International Conference on Revitalisation of Indigenous and Minority Languages
The III International Conference on Revitalization of Indigenous and Minoritized Languages (III CIRLIM) will be held on 13-16 September, 2022 in two venues: the University of Girona (in the Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Education and Psychology) and the University of Perpignan Via Domitia (in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences). This Conference aims to be a meeting point for people working for the revitalization of indigenous and minoritized languages from all over the world from different points of view: research, activism, pedagogy and practice on languages and cultures of indigenous and minoritized populations.
The main purpose of the Conference is to bring together researchers, activists, language professionals and students to foster a global and interdisciplinary dialogue and to serve as a forum for the exchange of ideas, experiences and research on issues related to language revitalization. The Conference has three main objectives: first, to disseminate educational and research aspects related to multilingualism; second, to publicize actions in favor of the revitalization of indigenous and minoritized languages; and third, to disseminate research on linguistic, social, political and cultural aspects related to indigenous and minoritized languages.
