This is a tool specially developed for creating local publications in Basque using free software; its aim is on-going innovation and the integration of content, investment and technology. 

The local mass media tend to experience many problems in managing to use cutting-edge technology in their digital editions:

• Lack of resources and lack of technological knowledge
• Funding problems to address the ongoing investment required by ICTs
• Lack of suitable tools adapted to the local sphere of Basque
• Dispersion, atomization and the resulting impossibility of taking advantage of synergies. 

Given the difficulties being experienced by the local Basque-language mass media to guarantee their digital presence, we have set up a joint digital platform as a tool to produce local digital publications and to continually share content, technology and reflections on the future of our sector, which is concerned about technology that is up-dated at a dizzying pace. This platform offers the chance to create publications easily. However, by sharing investments and the reflection on the paths for development, it also allows the local media to acquire technologies that are difficult for them to access on their own.  It seeks and is based on taking advantage of synergies.
