Como cho digo 😉

Como cho digo 😉 is a campaign to improve the visibility and use of Galician in the print media. An explicit request is made to the mass media by organisations and people who make declarations and/or hold press conferences, give interviews, issue communiqués, create information, etc., and the requests of these individuals are made publicly visible.

The aim of this campaign being promoted by the Coordinadora de Traballadores/as de Normalización da Lingua (CTNL) is as follows: we would like Galician to be more visible in the press, and so the press should use it at least to inform about the initiatives taking place in Galician, to reflect the declarations when they are made in Galician, to create information on the basis of the memoranda and communiqués written in our language, etc.

Como cho digo 😉 is urging what is said or takes place in Galician to be transmitted by the mass media in this same language. It is also inviting the people and organisations with a public presence and who are in agreement with this to join Como cho digo 😉 by participating in the campaign.

A website (www.comochodigo.eu) has been set up for this purpose. So an individual or organisation can join and through it an individualised declaration is made. That way, the individual or organisation can send it to the mass media or deliver it during a forthcoming appearance or interview, etc. requesting that the use of Galician be made visible.
